Velázquez’s Queen Mariana at the Norton Simon Museum

The Norton Simon Museum presents Mariana: Velázquez’s Portrait of a Queen from the Museo Nacional del Prado. One of the highlights of the Prado’s world-renowned collection of artworks by 17th-century Spanish artist Diego Velázquez, the nearly life-size portrait of Queen Mariana of Austria is presented on the West Coast for the very first time.
