Written by judges for judges, the Handbook on EU Civil Law has just been published by the IAJ. This most-helpful handbook, written in English, provides a good reference for all judges about EU Civil Law.
Chapters of the handbook provide an explanation of the roots and the history of the English legal language, as it evolved alongside the common law, and the system of equity in England and Wales. Furthermore, other chapters examine the main features of the three regulations and the innovations they bring to the rules of private international law of the participating states.
