If the cap fits Red Cross Appeal

Pictured: Mark Wilton, Christine Grice, Dale Lester and Ian Gault sporting the “Desert Storm” design of the JANZ cyclone fundraiser cap.

The devastation and heartache caused by Cyclone Gabrielle affected hundreds of thousands of people and will be felt for a long time to come. Entire communities were ravaged by the rain and wind. A number of people lost their lives, others lost their livelihoods. Many survivors lost everything.

At the Triennial Conference you all helped JANZ help them by buying a membership cap. Rather than keep that membership money, all the funds from the appeal went straight to the New Zealand Red Cross to reach those who need it the most right now.

In four days we raised $8000.

So very well done and thank you all!

and These Boots are made for walkin!

Meanwhile, smartly wearing their JANZ caps, the Moses husband and wife team officially joined the Parker/Tremewan team for a bit of walkathon fundraising. Lisa, David, Jonny, and Jo completed a 17k walk last weekend raising $4200 for the Auckland City Mission. Their aim is to make that $5000. So, come on you lot, get off the couch and donate to:
