For JANZ members who enjoy cruise holidays (or are considering their first cruise), arranging a charter or a group can be an excellent way to catch up with colleagues and, in the case of a charter, ensure that you are travelling with like-minded guests.
Charters are generally only available on smaller ships, such as the Mekong Princess, which offers itineraries between Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City. The itinerary can also be structured to include pre- and post-cruise land packages, allowing for more time to explore Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City.
Welcoming only 28 guests across 14 suites, the Mekong Princess offers the very best of what a cruise can be: a well-considered in-depth itinerary, authentic cultural experiences, local Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Western cuisine (with dietary requirements catered for), and experienced specialist guides. The Mekong Princess offers a range of suite categories, such as the Saigon Suite:
Clare and I were fortunate to enjoy a cruise on the Mekong Princess and I look forward to sharing more about her itineraries in the new year. If you’d be interested in joining a JANZ Group or Charter, please feel free to contact me at: richard.fletcher@finetravel.co.nz.
