AIA’s MyCare (previously known as Best Doctors) was added to the AIA Judiciary Insurance Scheme, for no cost, to the members. The recent name change to AIA MyCare has prompted me to remind you of this wonderful service and its benefits to you and your family.
A recap on AIA MyCare
Best Doctors, now AIA MyCare, was established over 30 years ago by two Harvard medical professors who had the vision of connecting people, regardless of location, with leading experts from around the world.
It is a global service that gives confidence, clarity and certainty when facing a medical condition by remotely connecting members with leading local and global medical specialists to provide diagnosis and treatment plans.
Members don’t need to be on claim to access the AIA MyCare service. They can use it at anytime, anywhere, and as often as they need for no extra cost, and it’s completely confidential. If a member faces a mental or physical condition (from minor to major) they can connect with specialist doctors to:
Conduct an in-depth medical review (i.e., a second opinion from a global expert.
Confirm a diagnosis.
Help decide treatment options (or again, give a second opinion from an expert).
Check information they’ve been given by their doctor.
Receive quick answers to basic health questions.
Key member benefits:
No cost.
Can be used for any injury or illness.
Can be used at any time and as many times as required.
Available to the member, their partner, children and parents (including in laws).
